Salt Lake Equestrian Park (2014-05-19) This is the grand entrance to the main arena at the Salt Lake Equestrian Park. The facility is used for the County Fair, rodeos and an occasional exhibition.

Wasatch Gem Show (2014-05-19) The Wasatch Gem Society was holding its annual gem show on the day I visited the park. Fortunately the event was free and opened to the public so I could enter.

The Salt Lake Equestrian Park (events) is a 120 acre county owned facility in South Jordan that is home of the Salt Lake County Fair and numerous community and equestrian events.

The park includes a grand arena for rodeo events along with a race track and indoor exhibition space.

I happened to visit the facility to witness an Ultimate Frisbee tournament and took this set of photos between games.
