Churchill Sledding Hill (2022-01-08) There wasn't very many people at the Churchill sledding Hill in Salt Lake. Usually there is a hundred kids on this hill when the snow is fresh. I guess everyone is freaked out by the spike in COVID cases. Big Pile of Snow (2022-01-13) Things start looking drab as the snow melts. This was a much larger snow pile. As it melts it just looks like a pile of dirt. A Pile of Snow (2022-01-13) This is a second pile of snow slowly turning black as it slowly melts. The snow report says Alta has had 45" of snow in the last 72 hours. Blue Snow (2022-12-23) I had to run some errands and I ended up taking some snap shots of snow piles at the mall. A Lighted Snow Pile (2022-12-23) I took a picture of a lighted snow pile with my pixel 2 smart phone. Fresh Snow but Few Sledders (2022-12-24) There was fresh snow on the playground but few sledders. I guess COVID is still disrupting the childhood's of kids in the city. Yellow Snow Shovel (2022-12-27) I plant the yellow snow shovel after several hours of shoveling Pointed Pile (2023-02-02) My snow pile, which is about 7.5' tall, developed a point this year. The pile melts down between each snow fall and I rebuild it. I used the picture for a HIVE post. Broken Snow Shovel (2023-03-14) One of the sides started ripping off my snow shovel. I cut off the offending piece with tin snippers. This shovel has only experienced two snow seasons; so I am worried about how long it will last. Snow Pile (2023-03-14) This is the pile of snow I was working on when I broke the snow shovel. April Snow (2023-04-07) The powers that be dumped a huge load of snow on the lawn on April 5.
